(GEA India) received an order from Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) for
supply of India’s Largest HDPE Fluid Bed Dryer for their Panipat Naptha Cracker
Project.
Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. is currently India's largest
company by sales with a turnover of US $51 billion, the highest-ever for an
Indian company, and profits of US $1.73 billion for fiscal 2006. IndianOil is
also the highest ranked Indian company in the prestigious Fortune 'Global 500'
listing, having moved up 18 places to the 135th position this year based on
fiscal 2006 performance. It is also the 20th largest petroleum company in the
world.
GEA Process Engineering (India) Private Limited, formerly known
as L&T-Niro Limited, is now a part of GEA Process Engineering Division
(P-Division), World Leader in liquid and solid processing technologies. GEA
P-Division focuses on Liquid Processing, Membrane Filtration, Concentration,
Drying, Powder Processing & Handling; Supplies customized and advanced
Plant & Equipment with safe and reliable process controls. GEA P-Division
is part of Process Engineering segment of GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft,
Germany.
The project will put India on the global map for its
state-of-the-art technology at par with world standards and would add many
firsts to its credit in the Indian Polymer sector. This is a major breakthrough
for GEA India in building up the Largest and Most Modern plant in India. After
having supplied over 200 Spray Drying plants, with this project GEA India will
be the only company in India to build plant of such Magnitude. In the past we
have supplied 24 TPH HDPE dryer at Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd (IPCL
is now Reliance Industries Ltd)
