It was GEA show with a difference . For the first time in India , all GEA companies came under one roof for participation in GEA Technical Dairy Seminar for Dairies which constitute the most important customer segment for GEA’s business in India.
At the initiative taken by GEA Process Engineering (India) Pvt Ltd (GPIN) , a GEA Dairy Technical Seminar was held for the Indian Dairy fraternity on 3rd & 4th November 2009 at Hotel Radisson Plaza at historic & picturesque city of Udaipur which is also popularly known as City of Lakes
The objectives of the dairy seminar were multi – fold says S. Srinivasan , MD of GPIN .GEA entities like GPIN , Westfalia , Ecoflex have been catering to the Indian Dairy market & there was a need to present a co-hesive front showcasing the entire spectrum of technologies GEA group can offer to the Indian Dairy sector . Customers should perceive GEA Group as “Total Solutions Provider ” for Dairies.
GPIN is major supplier of Milk powder plants & Liquid milk plants to the leading dairies of India . The Seminar provided a platform to apprise the key players in the Indian dairy sector of the recent technological developments not only in Powder & Liquid milk plants but also introduction of relatively new GEA technologies for Indian market like
Powder conveying & Packaging , Membrane filtration , Aseptic filling. Refrigeration etc

Y . Sarma) and GEA Refrigeration , India for Refrigeration Systems ( Rohit Arora/ Kailash Kade)
The Seminar was well attended by around 100 participants, among them doyens of the dairy sector like Mr. P. G Bhatol ,Chairman & Mr. B.M. Vyas, MD of GCMMFL which owns the Largest dairy & Milk Powder plant of India at Mother dairy , Gandhinagar and markets the dairy products of various dairy unions under the name of “Amul” which is the most powerful brand in India .
