We cover the following areas of liquid milk handling & processing:

MILK COLLECTION:

  • Collection from a network of farmers / co-operative societies who produce milk.
  • The milk collected from these societies brought through Milk cans to a Milk collection center (MCC) located in different farming areas.
  • The milk is weighed, analyzed and chilled through Bulk cooling tanks to 4 Deg C from 35 Dec C.
  • The chilled milk from MCC is transported to the main Dairy in road milk tankers once a day.

CAN MILK RECEPTION:

  • The milk cans are unloaded from trucks to a can conveyor and unloaded into a bowl for weighing.
  • The empty cans are washed and loaded into the trucks.
  • After weighing the milk is unloaded from bowl to the Dump tank and is then chilled and stored in raw milk silos.

TANKER MILK RECEPTION:

  • Milk is unloaded from trucks through a tanker reception line.
  • After quality checks, the milk is cooled to 4 Deg C and then stored in raw milk silos with alcove and mechanical agitation.
  • Empty tankers undergo CIP operation fully or partially depending on the requirement.

MILK PASTEURISATION, SEPARATION AND STANDARDIZATION AND CREAM PASTEURISATION

  • Milk processing lines consist of milk pasteurization, cream separation and cream processing sections.
  • Separated fat is then standardized with skim milk for making different products like Icecream, Yoghurt, Cheese, Casein, Sweetened condensed milk etc. as per the process requirement.
